The Foundation, located in mid-Manhattan, is currently funded at the mid-seven figure level by donations from Francis Mechner. Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible pursuant to section 170 of the tax code.  
 
 
Purposes of the Foundation 

The Foundation's present activities reflect the interests of Francis Mechner, whose experience and technical expertise is principally in the behavioral sciences, music, art, games, and innovative technology. The Foundation's projects have in common their linkages to the life sciences and arts, their unifying theme being the long-term enhancement of the quality of life.
