The Mechner Foundation: 

1.  Will consider providing certain types of assistance and support to researchers interested in making use of the revealed operant technique for research questions that are best addressed with that technique.  

2.  Is interested in extending the applications of the technology for "learning and practicing skilled performance" to skill areas beyond pianism, an area where its applications have already been explored. It will consider collaborating with accomplished performers, coaches, and teachers of musical instruments, dance, acting, sports, and other areas of skilled performance.  

3.  Is interested in extending the applications of the Mechner notation system beyond behavior analysis to micro-economics, social interaction, and law, where applications have so far been minimal. It is also interested in promoting the development of systems and materials that will make the notation system easier to learn, and will consider collaborating with, and assisting, psychology professors who are currently teaching the notation system in their classes. 

4.  Is interested in implementing applications of the "power measure" to the measurement of chess or go skill, as well as other knowledge-based skill areas. 

5.  Is interested in discoursing with individuals about current thinking related to the scientific frontiers and societal implications of current advances in molecular biology and genetics. 

6.  Seeks assistance in locating Solomon Lerner's best paintings through searches in the United States, Israel, and Cuba. The Foundation will seek to purchase or arrange for loans of his best paintings, to enable the art world to rediscover Lerner via a series of exhibits. The Foundation will consider making appropriate arrangements with individuals who can assist in these searches.
